Welcome

Welcome! I'm so glad you are here. This is going to be a great spot to get your sports updates like ESPN but from the perspective of a woman. I have to confess I am one of those women who wake up to ESPN's Sports Center and can't start my day until I know the scores from the games I missed the day before. I hope you find this site to be an asset to not only tracking the who's who in sports, but also it will be a spot where you can go to find out what the men in your life are talking about when it comes to sports.

Top 25 Rudest Fans in the NCAA

Have you ever wondered how a group of fans can be so rude to the opposing team?  How can they act the way they do and is there a worse group of fans. Thanks to todays bleacher report here are the top 25 schools with the rudest fan base, starting with number 25.

25.       Fresno State Bulldogs – There are reports of their fans spitting on people who where the other teams colors.  That’s just wrong.  And to thing they are the best of the worst.

24.       Michigan Wolverines – It's really not so much that Michigan fans are rude, but they have to be hands down the most arrogant college football fans on the planet.

23.       Arizona State Sun Devils – Being that ASU is known as one of the top party schools in the nation it doesn’t take long for alcohol and a college football game mixed together to get rowdy fans.

22.       Texas Longhorns – Much like Michigan Texas fans are among the most arrogant.  If you are from Texas and didn’t go to Texas A&M, TCU, Texas Tech or Baylor you most likely are a Longhorn fan and in general Longhorn fans think their team is the biggest and the best.

21.       Auburn Tigers – Now we are breaking into the realm of the SEC.  Auburn certainly has some passionate fans, which can translate into being rude, but shockingly enough, there are still at least five more schools from the SEC that will top Auburn on this list.

20.       Wisconsin Beavers – Their home game “jump around” routine is fun to watch but watch out when things don’t go their way.  Like during the Iowa game. Fans were throwing things at opposing Iowa fans, cursing up a storm, and just not a great environment to be in. Some call that passion others call it stupidity.  You make the call.

19,       Pittsburg Panthers – When Sports Illustrated took a poll as to what team was the rudest to the opponents Pittsburg came out the second worst in the Big East.  They also received the lowest ranking as to who is the most polite to visiting fans.  It’s no wonder Pittsburg made the list.

18.       Michigan State Spartans – Known for their chants of "Ass****" rain down on opposing fans who walk into the stadium wearing the visiting teams' colors. At some games, they get the entire cheering section to point at the visitors and scream out the chant.  They, like ASU are known as a premier party school and we will just leave it at that.

17.       Boise State University Broncos – Even with a head football coach that is one of the most classiest guys in the game today, the fans of Boise State have made great strides in the race to become college football's most arrogant and cocky. Boise State ranked first in the WAC in the "Which school has the rudest fans" in the SI poll. With success comes arrogance, and with arrogance comes some rudeness. That is exactly what has happened here in this little school in the middle of the Idaho potato fields.
16.       Central Florida Knights – Now these fans are just plan gross. Shoving opposing fans, stealing from them, and most noticeable and shocking of all, urinating on them.  That’s even over the top for a Oakland Raider fan.
15.       Oklahoma Sooners – Their fans eat, sleep and breathe Oklahoma football and really, if you aren't drinking that red kool aid, well then you better get out why you can. Fans here are cocky, arrogant, rude, and most noticeably, proud of their football team
14.       Arizona Wildcats – Because of a Youtube video the Wildcats were launched into the number 14 position.  The video shows a small group of Arizona fans cursing at, and making obscene gestures toward Iowa fans who had made the trip to Tucson.  It gets even worse.  About a minute into the video it shows one of the Wildcat fans taking a swing at an Iowa fan sitting in the stands.

13.       Washington State Huskies – Just because your team has been awful for the past little while and I can understand being passionate about your home school, but throwing drinks at opposing fans, come on now, that's just wrong.

12.       Colorado Buffaloes – When your fans through gold shirts onto the field during play just to confuse the players as well as the announcers that is not only rude but disrespectful.

11.       USC Trojans – I guess their excuse is that there is no other good team to get excited about.  The Trojans are all there is in the LA basin worth the fans.  With success comes arrogant and USC has plenty of that.

10.       Miami Hurricanes – Not known to have greatest reputation for being the best-behaved athletic program in the country. Take that and mix a stadium full of drunk fans who have been watching a less than stellar team for over a decade and you might just get ranked in the top ten on the rude scale.

9.         Georgia Bulldogs – While Georgia might have one of the coolest mascots with “UG” that doesn't give their fans license to be total jerks.  Starting fights because you are wearing the other teams colors, or because the other team scores a touchdown. I suppose you can call it passion if you want, but it more defines rudeness and lack of class.

8.         Tennessee Volunteers – When you go from being the top in the SEC to only winning 18 games in 3 years and have the coach who proclaimed his love an loyalty to your team ditch up for greener pastures it’s no wonder the Volunteers have made the list. Tennessee fans might not have the No. 1 rudest fans in the country, but they darn well have the most pissed off fans in the country.

7.         Ohio State Buckeyes – This schools fans are not only arrogant and rude, but they start their opposition hatred at a very young age.  When I saw a young child maybe 5 flipping the bird while yelling angry words it’s obvious the rudeness is something avid Buckeye fans teach at home

6.         Texas Tech Red Raiders – Their fans have started new traditions apart from the guns up signs and Masked Rider,  such as cussing, obscene gestures and fighting. It has gotten so bad that the Chancellor and the Athletic Director had to meet with the student leadership to tell them to knock it off.

5.         Oregon Ducks – Know for their tradition of being rude and stories of how Oregon fans insult your family and greet you with profanities as you walk to your seat have been well documented throughout time. And the thing about it is that it doesn't matter what school you are from, they are equal opportunity haters.  They are a top ranked team and want the world to know they are better that you.  Whoever you happens to be.

4.         Florida Gators – The rule of thumb around the University of Florida is that if you are not a gator fan you are out of your mind.  If you get a chance to watch a game at the swamp but be careful about what you wear and who you root for. If you enter the swamp without gator gear, you might turn into gator bate.

3.         West Virginia Mountaineers – Much like their basketball team who throws things onto the court during live play the football fans shout obscenities, point middle fingers, and burn couches on the streets of Morgantown, whether celebrating a win or a loss

2.         LSU Tigers – Some of the most common descriptions of the tigers are that they are rude, they are cocky, and they are just downright obnoxious.  It’s reported that it is better to take a child to an R rated movie that to LSU’s Tiger stadium, nicknamed Death Valley.  At least at the movie you can leave untouched.

1.         Alabama Crimson Tide – Just in case you haven’t heard an overzealous Alabama fan went so far with his hatred of Auburn to poison two of their famed old oak trees.  How sick do you have to be to show that much disrespect.
