Welcome

Welcome! I'm so glad you are here. This is going to be a great spot to get your sports updates like ESPN but from the perspective of a woman. I have to confess I am one of those women who wake up to ESPN's Sports Center and can't start my day until I know the scores from the games I missed the day before. I hope you find this site to be an asset to not only tracking the who's who in sports, but also it will be a spot where you can go to find out what the men in your life are talking about when it comes to sports.

Tennessee Volunteers sophomore Brent Brewer was arrested this weekend on charges of domestic assault. He was released Sunday on a $1,500 bond.  This is just the latest snag Coach Derek Dooley is having to solve.  Last week Janzen Jackson announced that he was leaving school to deal with personal issues.  According to a statement made by Coach Dooley Brewer will be suspended until his case is resolved.

It was finally announce live on ESPN that Jadeveon Clowney will be attending the University of South Carolina in the fall, as long as his grades are high enough to attend.  When asked why he ultimately picked South Carolina he replied “I chose [South Carolina] because I got a lot of friends up there, it’s close to home, my mom can come see me play all the time,”
The NFL has filed a formal complaint with the NLRB, charging that the NFLPA has not been bargaining in good faith.

Ex college football players who have appeared on the Electronic Arts NCAA college football games are suing EA sports as well as the NCAA.  They are stating that both entities take advantage of college athletes who are more concerned about playing college football than what the future might hold and the amount of money both companies make from using the players images.

In college basketball No. 1 Kansas was upset by Kansas State 84-68.  Guard Jacob Pullen scored a career high 38 points
